Broken Relationships

In the 2010 World Cup, the French national team fell apart in front of the entire world. Players refused to train, the coach stood in front of cameras reading a statement he didn't agree with, and France finished last in their group. The score is on the record, but the relationship damage outlasted it.

Some relationships stay with you long after they end. The ones that fell apart, the ones that ended without explanation, the ones still waiting for resolution.

In this session, Pastor Josh shares the complicated story of his own family, including a father he never knew and a door that closed before he could reach it. We also look at Joseph, a man whose own brothers sold him into slavery at seventeen, who spent years being faithful in circumstances he never asked for.

Psalm 27:10 says, "For my father and my mother have forsaken me, but the Lord will take me in." That verse was written for anyone who was supposed to be there and wasn't.
