Addiction

Right now, sports betting is woven into the World Cup experience. You lose, wait three hours, tell yourself this time will be different, and bet again. The pull is stronger than the knowing.

Most people have a version of that somewhere in their life: the thing they've quit and gone back to, the behavior they've tried to stop more times than they can count, the specific shame that sets in once they've stopped telling people they tried.

In this session, Pastor Josh shares something he doesn't say lightly: twenty years of pornography addiction that started after childhood sexual abuse. He'll tell you what that cycle felt like from the inside, and what Paul meant when he wrote, "I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate."

If you've hit the wall of your own willpower more times than you can count, this is for you.
